It is sometimes used with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy. Cytalon 500 Injection is given as an injection into the vein or under skin by the healthcare professional. Your doctor will decide what dose is necessary and how often you need to take it. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to. The most common side effects of this medicine include rash, skin ulcer, nausea, vomiting, and hair loss. This medicine may reduce the number of blood cells (decrease red blood and white blood cells) in your blood, thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections or bleeding. Inform your doctor if you notice chills, unusual bleeding or bruising and black and tarry stools. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with heart, liver, and blood uric acid levels. Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have bleeding, liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.

Floxip 500 Tablet is an antibiotic, used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in treating infections of the urinary tract, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia). It cures the infection by killing and stopping the growth of the infectious microorganisms. Floxip 500 Tablet should be used in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Avoid skipping any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Simply take the next dose as planned. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, and gastrointestinal disorder such as nausea. This is usually temporary and resolves on its own, but please consult your doctor if it bothers you or persists for a longer duration. Diarrhea may also occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it does not stop or if you find blood in your stools. You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Rarely, some people may have a severe allergic reaction which needs urgent medical attention. Signs of this include rash, swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, shortness of breath, or breathing problems. Special care should be taken in people with kidney problems while taking this medicine.

The most common side effects are indigestion, constipation, dryness in mouth, cough, flushing of skin, blurred vision, confusion, difficulty in urination, and bronchoconstriction (constriction of air passages). Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. To overcome constipation, you should add fiber-rich foods in your diet and stay hydrated. It may also cause dizziness and drowsiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your dizziness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have any liver diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience any allergic reactions such as skin rash, swelling, and itching.

It is also used in combination with some other medicines for the treatment of heart attack and some types of heart-related chest pain (unstable angina). This medicine may be taken with or without food and should be taken at the same time each day. It is important to keep taking this medicine even if you feel well. If you stop taking this medicine, it may increase your chance of having a heart attack or stroke. The most common side effect seen with this medicine is bleeding. This may be in the form of bruising, nose bleeds, blood in urine or stools (black-colored stools), or heavier periods than usual in women. If you cut or injure yourself, it may take longer than usual for the bleeding to stop. Such episodes of bleeding are usually mild and resolve on their own. However, you should consult your doctor straight away if the bleeding persists or worries you. This medicine is not suitable for some people. Do not take it if you are bleeding from anywhere in the body such as a stomach ulcer or bleeding within the brain. Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have ever had a problem with your blood not clotting properly or if you have recently had a serious injury or surgery. This medicine may need to be stopped temporarily before planned surgery or dental treatment.
